Over the years I have had some interesting experiences riding public transportation and have heard more stories from others. It seems that the trains have more instances worth reminiscing than buses, but I suppose they could work too. Personally, if I ever got around to actually writing a book on this topic I would right Tales from the Metro, as I already have plenty of my own experiences to base stories on from my times riding the D.C. Metro including today when there was a power outage. Others may find the Subway in New York or the L Train in Chicago is their inspiration. I think riding around enough on any of them you can come up with more than enough stories to make a good sized novel.
