Inevitable Subjectivity

In my own opinion it seems inescapable that humans are incapable of directly observing or knowing the true nature of many things about physical reality. This includes reality’s true geometry, events in time, and measurements in space. This is because 1) our perception of reality is informed by senses that are subject to the influence of reality, and 2) because we are only capable of making observations from our particular frame of reference. In the end we must agree to choose conventions to live by and work with. The question of which convention to choose is perhaps the most difficult one. The standard by which to make such choice is subject to opinion, and any chosen convention may always be altered by new observational data.

are senses are like a circular reference. we need them to understand waht is happening around us, but they are entirely based those very events. how then, are we supposed to see past them?

Consciousness is an intellectually impenetrable dialectic, grasshopper. Wax on, wax off.
