Save lots of money by getting your parts from a junkyard. There are many cars that get marked as "total loss" and are junked. While the damage may be cosmetic, that doesn’t mean you can’t snag a few goodies to fix your car. You will find the deepest discounts on junkyard parts.

I agree, but be wary of certain kinds of parts where you don’t know what you’re getting. If you can be sure of the mileage of that car then that would be really helpful. Try to find people who have used junkyards and find the ones you can trust. Some junkyards will let you take parts off yourself and are generally cheaper, others may not. Any junkyard you enter will require you to sign a release in case you get hurt taking parts off yourself.
