Diversify Your Mutual Funds

Invest in several mutual funds to diversify your portfolio. Invest in a standard index fund and consider other industries and markets. Compare mutual funds that concentrate on different aspects of the market such as technology, pharmaceutical, etc. By using mutual funds to invest in different market segments, you’ll be able to take advantage of larger trends without placing yourself in great risk. Be sure your mutual fund holdings don’t overlap because that would defeat the purpose of diversification.
