Autopilot for Cars

This is an idea to use GPS and road sensors either on the car or the road to allow cars to drive themselves. You can just input an destination and it takes you there.
This will create less traffic and cause less accidents.

this is already being made a reality by some scientists somewhere. while that is not specific, ive seen races on discovery channel of unmanned cars being guided entirely by gps. while some did finish the races--it was apparent that there are still some bugs to work out before it hits the streets. this will be cool though
